About Sol Restoration

What began as a pandemic-inspired home repair project evolved into a passion for historic window preservation. After my golden retriever Soli's destruction led me to discover restoration work, I was mentored by preservationist Erica Simbro and quickly fell in love with working with old-growth wood.

I refined my skills through intensive training at the renowned Belvedere School for Hands-On Preservation in Missouri and gained hands-on experience restoring windows in an 1870s historic log cabin. Since establishing Sol Restoration in Madison, Wisconsin, I have successfully completed full and partial restorations on over 200 windows throughout the city's beautiful historic neighborhoods.

As a proud member of the Window Preservation Alliance, I bring three years of specialized experience and a diverse portfolio to every project. Sol Restoration serves Madison exclusively, focusing on preserving our city's architectural heritage while supporting environmental stewardship and female entrepreneurship.
